SAM SMITH IS A DIRECTOR BASED IN LOS ANGELES
Sam Smith grew up on a farm in Texas. He never connected with farming culture so he used film and television as a way to escape into different worlds. Now he helps create those worlds for other people. Half tech, half creative, his deep understanding of post production and visual effects gives him the knowledge and insight to bring the most inspired ideas to life.
He got his roots in commercials as an editor and then moved on to VFX as a Nuke/Flame artist where he refined his eye for detail, working with brands such as Acura, Apple and Starbucks.
Sam worked at Stopp and Media Monks as a Director/Creative Director on campaigns for Adidas, Red Bull, Google and Walgreens. He is now at m ss ng p eces and has recently directed for Apple, Delta Airlines, Converse, Chevrolet and Expedia.
